Since being founded in 2017, Hinetics has experienced rapid growth as a company and to scale with the number of projects being taken on to electrify aircraft motors, the company is hiring for various engineering positions. They are looking for part and full-time mechanical engineers to work alongside our test and design engineers on their in-house motor manufacturing, generating CADs for presentation and fabrication, and designing and machining testing equipment. Responsibilities: Design and develop prototypes Assisting in qualification tests of electric motors Creating CADs and engineering drawings for design changes and new testing devices the team needs Participating in motor manufacturing in our in-house lab Communicating with outside machinists to build devices needed for testing Documenting design process and modifications Creating BOMs and ordering materials needed by projects currently underway Assist with rotodynamic analysis Assist with thermal analysis and conducting heat transfer tests Essential Qualifications: Senior/Junior in Mechanical Engineering or similar degree at minimum Proficiency with a 3D CAD (preferably Inventor), making CADs, and engineering drawings Hands-on laboratory or assembly/fabrication experience Understanding of lab safety in a high-voltage environment Interest in rotary electric machinery Strong communication skills Authorized to work in the United States Willingness to work from our office in Champaign, IL Desired Attributes: Experience with 3D printing Experience machining and GD&T or related coursework Experience with FEA Thermodynamics/heat transfer exposure and related coursework Category: Student Internship Apply here

Major duties include: · Work with the BTS business platforms team to identify processes that can be optimized using AbbVie’s internal large language model AI capabilities and tools prioritizing reproducibility, accuracy, and simplicity. · Work with different teams to gather requirements for the identified processes. · Testing how different AI prompts and inputs generate outputs and evaluating these outputs according to business needs. · Develop proof-of-concept projects to optimize the identified processes by testing out different prompts and evaluating responses. These projects may include but are not limited to POCs that optimize: creating UAT (User Acceptance Test) scripts, User Stories, PowerPoint Presentations, SLC (System Life Cycle) documentation, data/system mapping, business communications, RCEs, workflow diagrams, and Wireframe documents using different sources such as meeting notes, requirements documents, video recordings, and transcripts.
