Position Description: The Part-Time Student Program at the AbbVie Innovation Center, located in the Research Park, is designed to augment AbbVie’s regular staff, and is for students who are able to work in parallel to their school schedule. Major duties include: Working on user-centered and small workgroup small application projects that will be utilized throughout the company Configuring Salesforce systems, by creating or modifying custom fields, custom objects, validation rules, process builders, workflows, reports and etc. Developing custom programs, triggers and lightening custom components using APEX, Java script, SOQL , SOSL Qualifications: Must be registered as a full-time student Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis Undergraduate and Graduate students Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, or equivalent Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship 10 – 15 hours/week during the academic year 35 – 40 hours/week during the summer semester Preferred Skills: Salesforce platform VisualForce pages APEX Java scripts Knowledge of VS Code, Salesforce CLI, Git Note: The position will be hired through a third-party hiring agency and will begin as soon as possible over the fall semester 2019 with an option to continue through the spring, summer and 2020-2021 academic year.
