ADM Process Development Support Internship ADM is looking for interns to find and collect process development information around process chemistry and separations unit operations to help the company understand viable business opportunities in renewable materials. Process information will be for renewable materials, with a focus on new technology. In this position you can help the company adapt to the changing technological landscape. New technology is the future – be a part of it with ADM! The position requires the ability to execute projects with limited direction, be self-disciplined, organized, and deliver in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be able to work independently, take initiative, and be organized. The candidate will need to deliver concise and well-organized reports describing available technology for the production and purification technology. The work will involve collaboration with other students working on the project. The position will end at the end of summer 2021 and selected candidate is expected to work 40 hours per week; the position may be extended as a part-time position for the fall and spring 2021/2022 school year depending on work demand and performance. Job Description Conduct literature searches to identify production processes and viable technologies to identify profitable business opportunities. Prepare block flow and process flow diagrams for potential production processes Estimate capital and operational cost of production process and/or bolt-on technologies Prepare reports that compile, synthesize, and analyze data from multiple sources Assist team members with information gathering Develop PowerPoint presentations to clearly communicate key findings Qualifications Student in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Food Programs Ability to synthesize data and write well organized reports Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams Lab and/or pilot experience is a plus Understanding cost and financial models is a plus Good time management and priority setting is required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Uncompromising ethics and attention to detail are necessary ADM is an equal opportunity employer Click here to apply!
