Equal parts strategy and execution, the LDP provides an exciting and challenging entry point into general management. This 2-year program is intentionally designed as an unstructured rotational program for new MBA graduates. The goal is to develop strong leaders for our rapidly growing businesses by putting you in a position to make immediate contributions while working side-by-side with executive leaders. Along the way, LDP members are provided networking opportunities with multiple divisions across the US. Interview Process and Placement  Candidates interview for acceptance into the overall program, and we will take division and/or location preferences into consideration the best we can. Offers will be division-specific (Mercury Marine, Brunswick Boat Group, Business Acceleration, Corporate, or Advanced Systems Group). Locations for first roles vary based on business needs but often include Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; Mettawa, Illinois; and Edgewater, Florida. Given the company’s strategy to develop leaders for the entire corporation, those with geographic mobility will be more attractive during the selection process. This is an individualized program, so no two program participants will ever have the same experience. With that said, all LDPs begin their career with the title Manager of Strategy and Business Development and typically hold that position for 12-18 months. This first role offers acclimation to the strategic issues that the company faces as well as impactful project work. The second position will be in a functional area of the business such as Category/Product/Brand Management, Sales, Operations, Marketing, etc. and is determined based on individual goals, experience, and capabilities, as well as the business needs of the organization. While each person’s journey is unique, we have found that LDPs typically find themselves in their first position managing a P&L or in a General Management position after roughly 6-9 years with Brunswick. SUMMARY Genective, a JV between two leading global seeds companies, Limagrain and KWS, is seeking a Head of Research Entomology, expert in insect biochemistry/molecular entomology, to join our growing team in the U.S. This team leader will coordinate and expand our research activities on protein pesticidal mode of action reporting. This position reports to the VP-Research & CSO and is part of the Research Leadership Team that oversees Genective’s from gene to the field research pipeline. THE POSITION As a direct report to the VP-Research & CSO, the Head of Research Entomology is accountable for coordinating and consolidating Genective’s efforts on pesticidal proteins mode of action. Direct laboratory hands-on is a must, supported by exceptional technical expertise. Essential Responsibilities: Develop and implement functional strategies to decipher functionality and mode of action of identified pesticidal proteins Evaluate existing and new technologies, products, and applications to improve, optimize and streamline research platforms. Apply knowledge, skills, and abilities to participating in sub-organismal insect-based research projects, maintaining specialized insect colonies and/or cell cultures, and/or conducting various molecular or physiological bioassays with insects. Write and review technical protocols in compliance with quality management and stewardship practices in Genective. Independently plan, design, execute, record, and analyze studies. Participate and contribute to project planning, updates, and completion. Proactively and effectively communicate experimental results across multiple teams by distilling complex information to readily interpreted conclusions. Additional Responsibilities: As requested by the VP-Research & CSO QUALIFICATIONS The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: D. with a minimum 10 years industry experience in entomology, insect pest management, biotechnology, and/or, insect biochemistry/molecular biology. Hands-on experience designing and conducting laboratory insect bioassays. Experience with developing membrane binding assays and receptor characterization is considered a plus. Core competencies in molecular entomology, insect innate immunity, microbiology, and/or functional genomics. Extensive, hands-on experience developing an insect resistance management strategy. Demonstrated excellent English oral, written, presentation, and time management skills (peer-reviewed scientific publications are a strong plus). Ability to think critically, analyze and interpret data independently as well as work collaboratively in a diverse fast-paced and agile environment. Job Description The Office Coordinator will assist the Manager, BTS Academic Partnerships and Associate Site Manager, AbbVie Innovation Center with day-to-day operations of the AbbVie Innovation Center and its programs. The role will be responsible for various administrative and logistical tasks to ensure the efficient functioning of BTS Academic Partnerships and the AbbVie Innovation Center. Responsibilities Coordinate logistics around professional and social events, such as workshops, speakers, hackathons, and lunches. Maintain office and kitchen supplies. Illinois Ventures Visiting Senior Associate

The University System Office seeks a Visiting Senior Associate to engage in fulfilling the purpose of the Company. Specifically, this purpose is to support the operations and investment activity of Illinois Ventures, which, through multiple seed and early-stage investment vehicles, provides startup and early-stage venture financing for companies derived from technology originated or developed by faculty, staff, students and/or alumni of the University. The Visiting Senior Associate will support the efforts of the CEO and the Directors to promote these objectives. Duties: Source and evaluate seed and early-stage venture capital investments in high-growth companies derived from technology originated or developed by faculty, staff, students, and/or alumni of the University of Illinois and other research institutions, federal laboratories, or other sources in Illinois and the Midwest. Create investment memos for potential venture capital investments which include written memos detailing due diligence outcomes with an emphasis on technology and market assessments, competitive analyses, and financial return models. Investment memos will be presented to the Illinois Ventures Board of Managers and related Investment Committees for investment consideration. Create, develop and produce valuation models and memos for Illinois Ventures and its affiliated funds’ investments in individual portfolio companies, following best practices for the venture capital industry.
