Looking for College Grads interested in being a member of our Solutions Quality Assurance Team As a member of the Solutions QA team you will approach testing from a multi-product perspective while thinking about customer-oriented workflows. Our testing is guided by use case studies of how our major customers use our products. You will help us test new features and new products within the Riverbed portfolio, ensuring they interoperate with each other as expected. What you will do: Analyze new WAN Optimization and Application Acceleration features and then design and implement test cases to evaluate their quality Build complex test network topologies in our lab that incorporate WAN Optimization, Application Acceleration products and SD-WAN products Troubleshoot unexpected behavior, file defect reports, and work with software developers to improve quality Design, implement, and deploy new test automation in Python Be an integral part of a team where everyone collaborates to deliver products with the highest level of quality What you should have: BS/MS CS or EE or equivalent field You possess strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, programming languages, distributed systems, and computer networking Passion for all things Python You understand Linux system internals and TCP/IP fundamentals You understand how the Internet works and are keeping up with the evolution of internet and SaaS/cloud services You are a good programmer that writes readable, testable and maintainable code Strong and clear communicator that can concisely explain complex software design considerations Team player with a good sense of humor What will help you further: A passion for breaking software and/or coming up with novel ways to assess product quality An eye for detail and ability to advocate for good customer experience of a new feature’s implementation Experience doing packet trace analysis Troubleshooting network problems either in simulated or real network topologies Why Join Riverbed Riverbed offers a rewarding experience of working with the best minds in the industry, delivering exceptional network performance and visibility for any application. Key Accountabilities Serve as the central point of contact for the gathering and processing of information and format information to enable ease of use by department members in making business decisions. Provide onboarding support of new employees and training on the software used in the department. Perform customer experience related tasks to ensure a positive experience. Coordinate visitors to the department, assisting with required paperwork and meetings with company personnel. Perform general administrative support for the department including meeting scheduling, facilitation and logistics, expense management and general routine items. Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
