University of Illinois Entrepreneurship Program Management Intern The University of Illinois has a strong track record of faculty and student entrepreneurship and its award-winning incubator for science and research-based startup companies, EnterpriseWorks (EW), is an integral part of the ecosystem that supports this track record. The incubator is led by an experienced team of professionals who manage operations, support founders and business owners, while providing leadership to the university’s entrepreneurship ecosystem. EW is seeking an Entrepreneurship Program Management Intern who will support full-time staff in market research, entrepreneurship ecosystem benchmarking, entrepreneurship resource curation and communication and related activities in support of vision and strategy formulation development efforts. The role will support development, implementation, and communication of EW’s strategy as the leading resource for new venture formation and development at UIUC. The position will be a full-time summer internship. The Entrepreneurship Program Management Intern role will entail the following: Program Management Support Develop coordination and administrative support tools for informing and managing entrepreneurship support partners across campus. Support preparation of compelling and visually appealing presentations that communicate key EW/UIUC entrepreneurship goals and priorities. Perform market research to benchmark performance of entrepreneurship ecosystem and its elements. Identify and curate complementary new venture incubation and acceleration resources for faculty, student, staff, and other stakeholders in our entrepreneurial ecosystem and contribute to the development of programming to support application and participation in these programs. Identify and curate resources new ventures might need to incorporate their businesses, set up financial reporting and management systems and provide medical and related benefits for their teams. Support full-time staff as needed. Minimum Qualifications Ability to work 40 h a week starting around the middle of May. An exact date will be established in consultation with the hiring manager. An interest in participating in or contributing to the UIUC entrepreneurship ecosystem Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and engaging content. Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and presentation software. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. independently manage projects and deliver results in a timely manner.
