GeoData Intern – LandVisor (Visor Solutions) Fall 2022 through Summer 2023 Responsibilities: Utilizing GIS, remote sensing, and geodata knowledge and skills to review, quality assure and follow standard processing guidelines for geodata. Processes include steps to prepare data including training data (points), field boundaries (polygons) and image data (remote sensing images) for classification / prediction processes. Typical steps include Quality Assuring (QA) inputs, submitting and tracking classification and prediction products, and reviewing outputs for creating crop protection prescription inputs. Following procedures to maintain geospatial data in alignment with project documentation and applying technical and programmatic knowledge of GIS will be key to success in this role as will identifying and testing opportunities to improve / enhance approaches.
