Position Description:  Small Molecules CMC Development is integral part of Development Sciences organization and is responsible for robust manufacturing of active pharmaceutical ingredients and drug products essential to the success of our therapeutic drugs. For the past several years, the Cross-functional Modeling Forum has been developing and democratizing automated mathematical modeling tools that meet the increasing demand for faster and more robust drug development. This role will help to enable scientists to take complex modeling workflows into their own hands by developing the necessary behind the scenes infrastructure and presenting robust and useful interfaces.   Major duties include: Working on user-centered, simple and clean modeling tools and visualization dashboards for various workflows in Small Molecules CMC Development area which will be part of internal digitization platform. Job Description This position will work to improve process modeling efficiency, accuracy, and capability for an application to critical Caterpillar steel components. Projects will center primarily around heat treat process modeling on steels with some exposure to forming and casting modeling. The candidate will work with process simulation software and provide code to model and predict steel microstructures, mechanical properties, and residual stresses resulting from various heat treatments at a full component level. Job Description Motorola Solutions is looking for full-stack software developers to work on all aspects of application development during their summer internship, including: front-end development using a number of frameworks (React/Angular/Flutter), data storage and retrieval using both SQL, NoSQL, and Graph databases, GraphQL and REST APIs, backend tech stacks based on Python, GO and javascript, and cloud-based DevOps pipeline development. Motorola Solutions is looking for candidates with strong interests in cloud computing, microservices-based application development, and container-based software deployment and orchestration. Candidates are expected to work in a team environment utilizing the latest industry-standard agile practices for planning, implementing, and delivering products and services. Desired Skills: ● Experience with team software development using Agile practices ● Experience with microservices-based software architecture and containerization ● Experienced with cloud-based DevOps methodologies and processes. ● Strong communication and problem-solving skills Basic Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software engineering (CS, CS+, CE) is required. Candidates will be differentiated by their experience in the following skillsets: ● Fullstack development, including: React/Typescript/Javascript or other front-end framework experience HTML/CSS Node.js SQL and NoSQL databases Python-based backend tech stacks ● Cloud DevOps, especially on Microsoft Azure
