Electric Power Engineers, Inc. (EPE) works with clients on a global scale designing solutions for renewable energy (solar/wind/battery storage), Generation Interconnection, Transmission Planning, Distribution Planning, Distributed Energy Resources (DER), and Smart Grids. Internships at Electric Power Engineers, Inc. are more than just a job, they’re an experience! Throughout your internship, you will develop skills to advance professionally and academically. How you can make an impact: The Power Systems Engineer Intern – will perform projects/tasks such as network-wide steady-state and short-circuit studies as well as contribute to process improvement efforts, including development of Python scripts. This position will report to an experienced Engineer and be exposed to exciting projects building valuable industry knowledge. Through this opportunity, the intern will gain hands-on experience and perform research in-line with study requirements. This is a general internship posting for early submission. Qualifications Bring your passion, here what’s needed: Completion of, or current enrollment in, a bachelor’s degree program with a major in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university. Completion of, or current enrollment in, power systems fundamentals class(es) (strongly preferred) Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher
