Planning Specialist Intern – AGCO (Spring 2024)

Who We Are Looking For The AGCO Acceleration Center is looking for a highly talented Planning Specialist Intern to join our team at the Research Park at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign for Spring 2024 & beyond. The ideal candidate has an interest in communicating with AGCO Dealerships and supporting AGCO’s Farmer First attitude. This intern will work with the Managed Dealer Inventory (MDI) team which ensures that every time a farmer enters a dealership, that dealer has the right parts for the customer so their machines stay running in the field. Located in Batavia, IL at our Aftersales Division headquarters and attached to a parts distribution warehouse you will have the opportunity to be a part of everything that supports a farmer after the purchase of a new machine. As part of the team, you will help us bring a new machine learning program to life, creating sales documents to provide to dealers as well as testing and modeling to validate the machine learning logic is working as intended. This is the future of the MDI department and this new stocking logic is the first of it’s kind in the agriculture industry. We are looking for someone that has the ability to look at data, digest it and communicate it effectively. What You Will Do You will work with the MDI team to recommend parts to AGCO dealers based on historical information and sales trends. Being able to communicate effectively with the dealers and articulate why the parts are recommended based on analysis and data. Working in this role, there will be a large amount of cross collaboration with marketing and forecast and planning to ensure we are supporting other aftersales programs. There is flexibility for the projects to morph based on the candidates skillset and strengths: Project option 1: Data analytics, data modeling and assisting with predictive fill rate and acceptance of new machine learning program to improve stocking practices Project option 2: Marketing, creating pitch materials and sales documents for new forecasting software that can be presented to dealers to gain comfort with the new program and enroll in the improved planning program Project option 3: Statistics – help develop and think through seasonal parts to improve stocking practices across the North American region What You Will Bring Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Statistics, Information Management, Data Analytics, Marketing or a related field Knowledge of how to read data An interest in machine learning A Plus If You Have  SQL Python Athena AWS Process mapping Previous experience working with dealers/customers Additional Details: This position will be open until filled. Successful candidates will have a basic knowledge machine learning methods, data visualization, and statistical analysis. Data Compliance Intern – AGCO (Spring 2024)

The AGCO Acceleration Center is looking for a highly talented intern to join our team at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign Research Park for Spring 2024 & beyond. As the Data Compliance Intern you will assist the Global Compliance department with a new project which involves the design and build of a new privacy compliance module within Servicenow to replace an externally licensed system that we are currently using (OneTrust). You would be involved in all stages of the project (data analysis, build, test and deploy) potentially see the project through from beginning to end. The ideal candidate must be organized with good attention to detail and must be able to deliver work in a timely and professional manner.  The successful candidate should also possess excellent communication, writing, and problem-solving skills. What You Will Do Key focus will be mapping existing business processing activities to the APQC Cross-Industry Standard Business Process Classification Framework.
