ERHEL Enhancements project was initiated to add a Packaging module in order to store equipment information and to perform asset management for the equipment. Project already started, estimated completion date – 24 Aug 2020. As a John Deere Part Time Student – Robotics Engineer, you will primarily focus on defining how robots behave in mowing applications by guiding software & hardware development and implementation for one of Deere’s robotic platforms. You will be responsible for the creation and deployment of behaviors from concept through implementation and testing. This includes researching state of the art approaches, early prototyping, integration into the software stack, and debugging on the hardware using various testing techniques around mathematical models and algorithms, image processing, vehicle control, as well as other areas in robotic systems.
