Job Qualifications: Requirements: Internships are available to students that are currently pursuing any degree in Bioinformatics, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, or related fields Should have completed coursework in machine learning, genomics, bioinformatics or related Should demonstrate projects in the field of genomics, bioinformatics and/or machine learning. Strong programming skills Python (or similar) languages with the ability to quickly create prototype solutions on Unix / Linux platforms. Knowledge of visualization tools: Javascript, Cytoscape, is essential Experience working with open source libraries and toolkits such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Biopython, Jupyter, etc. Must be able to work 20 hours per week during the timeframe of January to May 2020.
