They provide real-time imagery of the surrounding environment to the vehicle perception unit for object detection and classification. The ADAS cameras need to have high image quality to detect objects such as traffic lights, vehicles and pedestrians in all lighting and weather conditions. We are looking for a Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLaM) Engineer Intern to support us in integrating our current LiDAR system, IMUs, and other location data to achieve real-time mapping of buildings and determine the location of the operator.
