Role Summary Internship Term: Rivian internships are experiences optimized for student candidates. Are you ready to join Rivian’s Electrical Hardware team in their Special Projects division? Responsibilities Take direction from Verification lead to understand the overall Device Under Test (DUT) functional specs, Verification Environment including Drivers, Checkers, Monitors. Develop Test Plans and Write Tests, File Bugs and Debug root cause. Automation scripts & Metrics Generation including dashboards and KPIs. Qualifications Must be currently pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD degree at an University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in the field of Computer Engineering or similar Proficiency in Python, Shell Scripting, TCL/TK required. Coursework in material science and machine learning, preferred Completed coursework in logic design, computer architecture, data structuers and algorithms, required. Completed at least two undergraduate courses in circuit theory, CMOS VLSI design, required. Must be available 10-20 hours per week in the fall and spring, and 40 hours in the summer. This project will require weekly task status update and monthly project updates. This internship will likely continue beyond Spring 2024. #LI-SAI7 Pay Disclosure Salary Range/Hourly Rate for Internships: The range of pay for internships is 25.00-51.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on location, and other factors permitted by law. Rivian provides robust wellness benefits, and a medical insurance package for interns, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26. Coverage is effective on the first day of employment, and Rivian covers most of the premiums.
