Qualifications Current UIUC graduate or undergraduate student with a major or emphasis in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Industrial/Systems Engineering, Communications, Writing/Research or related field (see job description for full list) 3.0/4.0 minimum cumulative grade point average Self-motivated with a high level of learning agility Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and creative problem solving skills Self-starter with a strong ability to work independently with little oversight from others Responsibilities/Desired Skills & Abilities Market Intelligence Analyst (1 opening) As a Market Intelligence Analyst, you will provide an “outside-in” perspective on a variety of topics including our competition, technology trends, consumer/business trends, etc. This team’s main deliverables include research reports, position/white papers, and presentations. Develop professional, succinct research reports for an executive audience on a variety of topics Research and synthesize information from myriad sources into coherent topics and business strategies Actively participate in cross-functional brainstorming and “design sprint” sessions, as it pertains to a particular research topic Ability to compile and summarize researched information, data, and statistics in reports, documents, and case studies. Ability to proof reports to ensure there are no grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, or factual inaccuracies. Ability to create captivating visuals to be incorporated into your research Ability to become familiar with and understand the aim of conducting the research Ability to read, grasp, understand, analyze, and reproduce information in a methodical and goal-oriented manner.
