Position Description: The Part-Time Student Program at the AbbVie Innovation Center, located in the Research Park, is designed to augment AbbVie’s regular staff, and is for students who are able to work in parallel to their school schedule. Major duties include: Developing content and supporting novel innovation challenge SharePoint site that includes a collaborative game to support learning Developing marketing campaigns to keep community of ~400 engaged in the game through opportunities to offer insight and curiosity to learn progress Qualifications: Must be registered as a full-time student Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis Undergraduate and Graduate students Cumulative minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0, or equivalent Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship 10 – 15 hours/week during the academic year 35 – 40 hours/week during the summer semester Creative problem solver with ability to understand larger picture but who will focus on details Passion for design and great user experiences Familiarity with user research and usability testing methodologies to prioritize user needs to drive design priorities Ability to design and deliver clean and usable user interface prototypes for desktop Graphic design skills desired Preferred Skills: SharePoint Web development Marketing campaign management Writing Willingness to learn Pipeline Pilot (a RAD platform) JavaScript/JQuery Web development Familiarity with databases Note: The position will be hired through a third-party hiring agency and will begin as soon as possible over the fall semester 2019 with an option to continue through the summer and 2019-2020 academic year.
