Service Now Development Intern
DESCRIPTION: The AGCO Acceleration Center is looking for a highly talented solutions developer to join our team at the Research Park for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020. This person will work closely with the ServiceNow Development team in Coventry, UK, and assist the team in building portal solutions on ServiceNow’s Cloud platform. The position works closely with our IT staff on project activities as well as working independently. Job Responsibilities: Assist in technical development activities to create an IT Portal for business users to request services from AGCO’s IT department. This will include: Analysis and Requirements gathering of business processes Design and testing of workflows to meet those requirements based on application needs Our Ideal Candidate Will: Have a good understanding of developing Web Applications in a Cloud environment using HTML, JavaScript, XML and MySQL (or equivalent DBMS) Be able to work collaboratively with customers in a different time zone and location Preferably have experience of developing applications in the ServiceNow platform Preferably have an understanding of and exposure to IT Service Management and ITIL processes Qualifications: Degree program on IT computer science or related quantitative discipline Experience / aptitude for gathering business requirements from various sources and being able to transform those into a credible business solution Must be registered as a full-time student Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis Additional Details: This is a paid, part-time internship for Fall 2019, Spring 2020 and possible Summer 2020 at the AGCO Acceleration Center in the University of Illinois’ Research Park. Students are required to work 10-20 hours a week on-site at our office in Research Park.
