The Human Resources intern will be part of the University of Illinois Research Park team to support the growth of the workforce in the Research Park. The position will directly assist internal efforts with a wide range of projects related to planning and recruiting, management and strategy, programming and event planning in the progression of a talent pipeline, and the development of new initiatives and programs that retain and grow the technology workforce in the Research Park. What You’ll Do As a Human Resource Intern, you will be responsible of various internal and external projects for EnterpriseWorks and Research Park. This includes managing the Research Park Job Board which consists of communicating with over 100 companies at Research Park, representing Research Park at multiple Career Fairs and campus recruiting events, updating EnterpriseWorks Intern Onboarding Manual and Company Recruitment Guide, organize hiring process of EnterpriseWorks Interns which includes promoting positions and screening interviews. The ideal candidate will be able to have excellent communication, organization and management skills. It is important to have interpersonal skills to maintain relationships with Research Park companies and EnterpriseWorks staff. This position will begin training at the beginning of Spring 2020 and will continue throughout the semester into Summer 2020, up to 40 hours per week.
