About the Role
As an UIUC Part Time Student for Deere & Company World Headquarters located in Champaign, IL, it is a project based part time student team. We look to match this team’s interests with the organizations project needs across different computer science related fields. For this first project you will be working with a team working on data pipelines on a data streaming project. Additionally you will:
- Collaborate with senior developers and other students to build full-stack applications
- Pitch, design, and build new features for internal software products
Skills Needed
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical team members
- Ability to learn quickly
- 1 or more years’ experience with a programming language
- Ideally you will be pursuing a Computer Science / Computer Engineering, or related quantitative discipline; others may apply
- Must be registered as a full-time student at an accredited university/college
- Graduation date of December 2026 or later
- Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
- Available to work 10 hours per week in the office
- Available to work 10-20 hours/weekly during the academic year
- Available to work 40 hours/weekly during the summer semester
