The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign ranked No. 24 in Ignition Schools: Top 50 Institutions Revolutionizing Entrepreneurship by Inc. and Fast Company. Ignition Schools spotlights the top 50 universities globally with the most significant impact on entrepreneurship.

According to Inc., “This inaugural list recognizes schools that excel in nurturing alumni founders, securing venture capital, and advancing technology …”

The Ignition School ranking evaluates institutions based on specific criteria, including success in fostering entrepreneurial talent through VC funding, generating new startups, technology licensing and the number of successful alumni businesses.
