Seeking to address some of its industry’s most acute as well as long-term challenges, American Supply Association (ASA) has turned to the Research Park as part of the solution.
Human capital, member spectrum, and innovation pose the most significant challenges in its industry. To reach its goals, ASA opened an innovation center at the Research Park to help with talent recruitment, technology, and supporting its members’ long-term business sustainability.
D.NEXT is one of the three pillars of ASA’s “Building One Future” initiative, which focuses on delivering its members access to invest in technologies that deliver customer-valued solutions. The new ASA D.NEXT Innovation Lab at Research Park will be a hub of industry, supplier, distributor, and technology company alliances that fund prioritized digital innovations.
Beth Ladd, ASA’s vice president of innovation, says, “Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future, and that is exactly what we are doing with ASA’s D.Next initiative. In 2020, we have secured a location, designed for a team of innovators, and completed renovation. We’re determined to do something that moves the needle in our industry.”
