Zero Percent Wins Trailblazer Award at ITA CityLIGHTS Awards

CHAMPAIGN, IL, Sept. 19, 2014 — EnterpriseWorks Startup Incubator graduate, Zero Percent, won the Trailblazing Award at the Illinois Technology Association’s 15th Annual CityLIGHTS Awards.

The Trailblazing Award is presented to the company that has developed and/or introduced an ingenious, non-traditional, and innovative way of doing business or creating culture that has produced significant value and growth for the company.”

Zero Percent is a first-of-its-kind platform that integrates web, mobile, email, and SMS in order to make it simple, efficient, and safe for businesses to donate food to local non-profits. Started by a University of Illinois computer science graduate student (now an alumnus), Rajesh Karmani, Zero Percent joined the EnterpriseWorks Incubator in 2013 before moving his business to Chicago.
