Chris Harbourt has a lot of experience in the Research Park. He started out at Waterborne and then transitioned to co-founding Agrible, which recently got acquired by Nutrien. He most recently co-founded HatchAg which helps growing AgTech companies be successful.
With all of his experience here he also has a lot of advice to give to those looking to start a company such as “start building a network around you remembering that relationships go two ways and kindness is always rewarded.” Harbourt has lived by this advice himself by growing a great network of colleagues in the park.
Harbourt also has a lot of good things to say about C-U. “Champaign is a great place to grow a startup; the Research Park staff and the EnterpriseWorks is a real gem. Startups need every advantage possible, it’s best to stay with a community that cares,” he said. Click here to read the full interview.
