SIMnext®, LLC will begin distributing von Hagens Plastination specimens, a product that is intended to reduce the use of human cadavers in anatomy education.
The SIMnext product development and manufacturing activities occur in Research Park as the company works alongside the OSF hospital system, which is based in Peoria, IL. The team of engineers work to design solutions for practicing clinicians, device manufacturers and medical students. SIMnext designs and creates portable, affordable simulation devices for the healthcare industry, focusing on improving education and patient outcomes.
