Shreya Rathi, EnterpriseWorks Intern, Assists with Student Move-Out

EnterpriseWorks’ Senior Project Management Intern, Shreya Rathi, was quick to respond when Paula Adametz Hays, former assistant to the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Dean Feng Sheng Hu, put out a call for help on behalf of a University of Illinois parent group on Facebook on March 18.

Students living in University of Illinois residence halls and in Private Certified and Greek housing were first requested to move their belongings on March 16. Out of state students’ families were faced with the question of how to get dorm rooms packed up and put safely in storage without traveling back to campus given travel concerns.

Shreya recruited Prarthana Patel and Mohan Dronadula, and together they assisted 5 families on Friday, March 20, and 4 families on Saturday, March 21, before Governor Pritzker’s stay-at-home order went into effect.

The University of Illinois Research Park commends Shreya, Prarthana, and Mohan for exhibiting compassion and leadership during these challenging times.
