Owner-operator Dr. David Fletcher recently held his webinar “COVID-19 Health Solutions for Employers” sponsored by Research Park and EnterpriseWorks on May 4. His webinar discussed the importance of guiding employers on instituting policies to help protect returning employees, addressing strategies to facilitate returning to work in a safe manner, and educating what we know to-date regarding COVID-19 testing issues.

Dr. Fletcher has practiced in Champaign for twenty years and is well versed in all of the issues surrounding the current COVID-19 pandemic. In addition to being the Medical Director and CEO of SafeWorks Illinois, Dr. Fletcher is board-certified in occupational and preventive medicine, is a certified Medical Review Officer (MRO), a certified Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), and a Senior Federal Aviation Administration Examiner (FAA – all three classes). He is able to consult for employers to help develop strategies to address the COVID-19 pandemic and safely bring back its workforce when allowed, including navigating through potential workers’ compensation issues.
