PhotoniCare, Inc. was invited to attend the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit on October 26-27 in Le Centquatre, Paris, France. Hello Tomorrow is a global organization which gathers together a community of the world’s brightest talents to propel collaborations between entrepreneurs, executives, and investors, to bring breakthrough technology to market. More than 3,000 science influencers and international leaders will come together at the Global Summit to explore the latest deep-tech trends and facilitate qualitative connections.
PhotoniCare is a medical imaging device company developing a handheld, low-cost diagnostic platform for the front-lines of medicine that will fundamentally change the way physicians manage middle ear disease, starting with ear infections. Founded out of Dr. Stephen Boppart’s bioengineering research lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC), PhotoniCare continues its relationship with UIUC as an EnterpriseWorks incubator company.
In addition to attending the Summit alongside 500 other startups from all over the world, PhotoniCare’s Ryan Shelton, Co-founder and CEO, and Ryan Nolan, Co-founder and Director of Clinical Development, were chosen as one of 26 startups to participate in the Healthcare, Data, and Artificial Intelligence showcase. Shelton and Nolan will demo the PhotoniCare ClearViewTM.
“We’re thrilled and honored to be featured by the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit,” says Nolan. “Ear infections are a global problem and this is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our ClearView device internationally. Our goal is to improve the lives of children and parents everywhere by empowering their physicians to easily and accurately diagnose ear infections and determine whether your child needs antibiotics or surgical intervention. As a parent and patient myself, it’s critical to get the right treatment today rather than settling for months of uncertainty.”
