Personify named in top 10 of Crain’s Chicago’s Most Innovative Companies

EnterpriseWorks graduate Personify was named in the top 10 of Crain’s Chicago’s Most Innovative Companies. Personify was started by Sanjay Patel, a University of Illinois electrical engineering professor, and his colleagues, Minh Do and Wen-mei Hwu.
Personify is a company that has developed a “virtual green screen” that allows the background of video to be blurred or removed. It also allows the user to put themselves on-screen in videos, demos, or webinars. Patel has also co-founded other companies such as Ageia which was sold to Nvidia.
