CHAMPAIGN – Leslie Gillar, founder and CEO of Nardo Technology, was recently featured in the Champaign News-Gazette’s Wired In column as a high-tech difference maker. Nardo is a graduate of the Research Park’s EnterpriseWorks startup incubator.
Nardo seeks to develop efficient and practical electrochemical sensors for forensic, food safety, agriculture and environmental testing markets. The company is currently in the early stages of developing an inexpensive handheld device for public safety workers that can be used to detect narcotics and explosives.
