IntelliWheels, the former student startup that earlier this year received SBIR, angel and venture capital funding, was the subject of a two-story spread in the (Champaign) News-Gazette on Oct. 28.

One article focuses on how IntelliWheels, which develops technology to improve mobility options for wheelchair users, will be launching its first product — the Easy Push — in January.

According to the N-G: “Easy Push is a set of wheels that can be retrofitted to any wheelchair. ‘It’s a simple product to make it twice as easy to push the wheelchair,’ said Scott Daigle, the company’s engineer and chief executive officer.”

The second article details how IntelliWheels has expanded outside of EnterpriseWorks and into the Rantoul Business Incubator. Intelliwheels will be keeping office space at EnterpriseWorks while using bay space available in Rantoul.
