Craig Vodnik among 5 Illinois Alum featured on Crain’s Tech 50

On July 17, Crain’s Tech 50 of 2017 was published and includes 5 University of Illinois Alum who are making big waves in the tech community in Chicago. This is the seventh annual list of founders, CEO’s, coders, hackers, investors and other brilliant minds. 

Among the Alum named is Craig Vodnik. 

Craig Vodnik is an Entrepreneur-In-Residence at EnterpriseWorks and he helps to support young startup entrepreneurs with their business ventures by giving them advice about business strategy and growth experience. He is the Co-Founder of Cleverbridge, which is a company that makes e-commerce software that powers digital shopping carts for companies like Sony and Dell. He has a BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University. 

Also listed is Jeff Carter, who launched Hyde Park Angles and his own venture fund, West Loop Ventures. Carter has been to Research Park to speak and give a presentation on how he became a successful business man. 

Other Alum who made the list are Sean Chou, Dan Del Degan and J. Schwan.
