CHAMPAIGN— The News-Gazette’s Paul Wood sat down with Federico Zuckermann on Sunday, November 13 for his Wired In column. Federico Zuckermann is a professor at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine and the founder and chief scientific officer of Aptimmune Biologics, Inc., a startup company in EnterpriseWorks. Zuckermann created a cell line to create a lethal pig virus vaccine that could potentially save millions of dollars in the pork industry.
