Paul Miller, Co-founder and Chief Science Officer for Agrible, a University of Research Park based company, was selected as a finalist for the 2017 Illinois Technology Association’s CityLIGHTS, Technologist of the Year Award.

The Technologist of the Year Award is presented to a talented individual who has sparked true innovation by using existing technology for a new purpose or developing a new technology that serves a unique purpose or service.

The Illinois Technology Association’s CityLIGHTS began 18 years ago and has been notable in giving out tech awards each year ever since. As of last year’s Awards, the 96 companies and individuals within the CityLIGHTs winners’ circle represents billions of dollars in exits, IPO’s, and venture capital. These numbers prove that there is indeed a correlation between CityLIGHTS achievement and future success.

The 2017 ITA CityLIGHTS Awards will take place on September 14, from 6-10PM at Morgan Manufacturing in Chicago, Illinois.
