Located on campus, Research Park has more than 120 companies and growing, employing over 2,00 people. At any given time more than 800 student interns are gaining valuable experiential learning and work experience while making contributions to internal corporate R&D and product development.

Research Park also has over 50 startup companies that are commercializing technology. EnterpriseWorks, UIRP’s business incubator for early-stage tech firms, is operated by the University of Illinois to help launch scientific and research-based startup companies.
