Cathy coordinates a rigorous schedule of more than 200 events a year, focusing on the community building efforts of the Research Park.

Cathy joined the EnterpriseWorks team in November 2017, bringing 20 years of experience in event programming, planning and promotion. Previously, Cathy was the Director of Sales & Marketing at the I Hotel & Conference Center in the Research Park, and served as the Director of the Workforce Development Board of East Central Illinois. She is a native of Laos in Southeast Asia and has lived in the community for almost 40 years. She graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business and has served on a number of local boards including the C-U Schools Foundation, Champaign PTA Council and Champaign County Freedom Celebration. Cathy lives with her three children in Savoy and enjoys traveling, reading, photography and gourmet cooking.
