About the role
We are looking for a full-time software engineering intern for Spring of 2026 to work and contribute to our growing software stack. This role will be working in the data science team, while closely interacting with fermentation scientists and process development engineers to develop cloud-based apps/ETL pipelines and dashboards to manage fermentation data.
Qualifications
- Final-year undergraduate or master’s student in Computer Science or related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience in full-stack development with Node.js, FastAPI, React, TailwindCSS, Plotly.js.
- Proficiency in databases: PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL.
- Familiarity with Alembic for database migrations.
- Strong API development and API testing skills.
- Ability to debug code efficiently.
- Experience in dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

- A good eye for UI/UX design and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to take ownership of features and drive improvements.

AI & Efficiency:
- Ability to leverage AI tools to write minimal, efficient code.
- Understanding of AI-generated code and capability to debug/fix issues when required.

The pay range for this role is: 20 – 25 USD per hour.
