Responsibilities:
As a Robotics Engineering Intern, you will:
- Design, test, and implement code in simulation and physical environments
- Debug, troubleshoot, and refine software for optimal performance on robotic hardware platforms.
- Develop and test robot cleaning behaviors in commercial buildings
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to align software and hardware objectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in ROS/ROS2 (Robot Operating System) and experience with Nav/Nav2.
- Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++.
Bonus:
- Understanding of SLAM techniques and practical implementation.
- Experience with simulation tools such as Gazebo or Isaac Sim.
- Familiarity with the NVIDIA ISAAC ROS stack.
- Knowledge of advanced path-planning techniques (e.g., A*, RRT, D*).
- Experience with integrating and processing data from robotic sensors (e.g., LiDAR, cameras, IMUs).
