Responsibilities

  • Assists with the definition of requirements for tools, equipment, materials, parts, and processes used in the engineering design, manufacture, and/or maintenance of Yummy Future robotic products
  • Prototype and translate automation conceptual designs into functional robotic products, and control systems alongside the engineering team
  • Fluent with Python, C++
  • Embedded system experience with microcontrollers: Arduino, ESP32, STM32

Qualifications

Bachelor’s in a related field (Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics Engineering, etc.)

2 – 3 years of experience in designing hardware and developing software applications in an embedded environment

Have experience solving planning problems with operating systems:

    • Simple data structures: queues, heaps, stacks, lists
    • Synchronization: primitives, memory semantics, mutual exclusion, semaphores, scheduling, and race conditions
    • Exceptions and signals: exceptions due to instructions, memory accesses, and floating-point operations; signal semantics and delivery
    • Networking programming: socket abstractions, basics of low-level network 
    • protocols, relationship to kernel I/O abstractions

Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented, team environment

Nice to Have

  • Experience in 3D design modeling (Fusion 360, SolidWorks, CAD)
  • Familiarity with PCB Design
  • Knowledge of 3D graphics and geometry
  • Demonstrated ability and knowledge of sheet metal work

Compensation

$60,000 – $65,000 per year
