Life in FutureLab Communications: In FutureLab, your storytelling skills can be the special ingredient that brings our R&D innovations and company culture to life. Working alongside a fantastic team of innovators, you will help shape compelling narratives that connect with Mondelez International Internal audiences. You will support our different initiatives, ensuring our audiences stay informed and inspired by the journey of “Snacking Made Right.”

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the creation of digital content to highlight the innovative projects and
  people within our R&D environment for a variety of audiences.
• Supporting the development of internal communications and narratives that highlight
  our shared values and team progress.
• Assisting with external-facing storytelling to promote the Mondelēz FutureLab brand
  and initiatives across various digital channels and platforms.

We are looking for qualified individuals with a desire to work in the food industry and are
interested in growing their storytelling and multimedia skills in a real-life research and
development environment. Leadership, innovative thoughts, and a strong desire to learn are
critical to succeed.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Journalism, Digital Media, Communications, or Public Relations at
  the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
• Portfolio Requirement: A link to a digital portfolio or media reel showcasing storytelling
  or multimedia skills is required for consideration.

During the placement you will be expected to plan and execute projects at various scales and depending on the scope may encompass hands-on practical work (e.g., benchtop and pilot plant, potentially within FutureLab, potentially within UIUC facilities, or potentially at Mondelez facilities at other locations.).

• Full-time enrolled student at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
• Graduation date of May 2027 or later
• Starts Spring 2026 (10–15 hours/week)
