This full-time summer internship will allow candidates to learn many new aspects of software development, especially as it relates to cyber security & secure software design.  Tasks may include developing new product capabilities, software development/build tools, software dev/test infrastructure, penetration testing/hacking and/or operational support for cross-domain products. The ideal intern is a focused, self-starter, willing to work in a collaborative team environment, willing to grow & learn using many software development & operational tools to test, debug & support software for secure Linux desktop environments, IT operations/enterprise management, IP networking/routing and remote/virtual desktop deployments.

Internship Requirements:

  • University enrolled, degree seeking BS or higher, computer science major – currently completing sophomore year or later
  • Familiarity with software development in Linux/UNIX environments using a variety of programming and scripting languages including Java, Python, Go, C, C++, Rust and/or bash.
  • Familiarity with many TCP/IP networking & related protocols (such as HTTP, FTP, SSH, IPSEC, TLS/SSL, and SMTP).
  • Experience with version control technologies such as Git or Subversion.

Due to the sensitivity of our government customers & their deployment environments, US citizenship is required.
