About the Role

Cygnus Photonics is looking for a hands-on team member to join our growing company. The role begins as a full-time paid summer internship, with the option to continue part-time during the academic year. Looking for at least a one-year commitment.

This is a great chance to develop real-world skills. Intern will start with hands-on technical work and grow into full engineering projects as you gain experience. Cygnus Photonics is a small, close-knit team working on challenging problems, and value people who are curious, committed, and eager to build something meaningful.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates have experience with tools, fasteners, tubing, circuits, or other mechanical/electrical systems—lab classes or hobby work count.

Typical applicants will be mechanical or electrical engineering majors, but other engineering majors may apply.
