Epivara is a biotechnology company aiming to transform animal reproduction management through safe, effective, and accessible pharmaceutical solutions. As we are preparing for the launch of our first product, we are seeking an individual who will assist our company’s leadership in preparation for our market entrance and executing the early-stage sales.

About The Role

The Business & Marketing Assistant will assist the leadership in value positioning, pricing strategy, market segmentation, customer acquisition, business negotiations, and go-to-market planning. This role will also provide direct support to the CEO in daily work. This position is open to Bachelor’s degree holders or Associate-level candidates with strong analytical, communication, and business execution skills. Both full-time and parttime arrangements are available

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate-level education in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or related fields.
  • 2+ years experience in business, marketing, or related role.
  • Background or experience with biotechnology or animal health is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to synthesize technical information into business strategy.
  • Demonstrated interest in biotechnology, animal health, public-sector partnerships, or early-stage commercialization is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Experience in marketing, business development, or product strategy is preferred.
  • For part-time applicants: ability to commit to consistent weekly hours

Responsibilities

  • Market Positioning: Assist leadership in developing value propositions for Epivara’s products across veterinary clinics, shelters, farms, municipalities, and international partners.
  • Pricing Strategy: Assist leadership in building data-driven pricing models considering cost structure, competitive landscape, and adoption incentives.
  • Customer Acquisition: Assist leadership in identifying and engaging potential early adopters, including animal producers, shelters, NGOs, veterinary networks, and distributors.
  • Go-to-Market Planning: Contribute to launching strategy, messaging, outreach campaigns, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Competitive & Market Analysis: Track market trends, regulatory considerations, and competitor offerings.
  • CEO Support: Assist the CEO for facilitating his daily work, scheduling, presentations, investor materials, scheduling, communications, exhibitions, and cross-functional coordination
  • Operational Support: Assist the leadership in maintaining documentation, managing external communications, and coordinating with R&D and regulatory teams.

Compensation

Full-time

  • Salary: USD $50,000–$85,000/year
  • Benefits: 401(k), Health insurance, PTO, equity options (optional)

Part-time

  • Hourly Rate: $24–$40/hr (Based on experience, scope of responsibility, and weekly commitment)
  • Benefits: 401(k), PTO, equity options (optional)
