COUNTRY Financial received a 2020 impact award from Novarica Insurance Technology Research Council. The 9th annual award was selected by over 50 Cheif Informational Officers (CIOs) who reviewed dozens of case studies.
COUNTRY Financial’s DigitalLab at the University of Illinois at Research Park performed the work of moving two apps to a new strategic cloud platform. The University of Illinois student intern talent at the DigitaLab saved Country Financial nearly $40,000 in vendor costs and enabled platform consideration.
Brad Hildestad, Chief Information Officer at COUNTRY Financial, said, “Utilizing our DigitaLab partnership to re-platform to the cloud allowed our interns to innovate and contribute nearly 550 hours of programming and technology implementation, which is a key reason they look to us for an internship experience,”.
