SpectroClick develops hand-held spectrometers and markets educational SpectroBurst. SpectroClick’s instruments use inexpensive hardware, smart software, and knowledge of analytical chemistry so that just people can monitor their environment without having to know analytical chemistry. Initial markets include defense, agriculture, and education, expanding into industrial quality control triage and citizen science.
Spectroclick was founded by Alexander Scheeline, a Chemistry Professor at the University of Illinois, and Bhu Anh Thu a University of Illinois alumna.
