Obiter Research was established in 2001 as a research-oriented chemical research startup. produces fine chemicals. They took advantage of their space at EnterpriseWorks in the early 2000s as a training arena for students at the School of Chemical Sciences at the University of Illinois. They marry engineering and chemistry to overcome the limitations of process development by chemistry alone.
