CU Aerospace is engaged in identifying and developing promising aerospace technologies with the ultimate goal being distribution and commercialization of those technologies. The company’s products include Small-Satellite Propulsion, THERMOSYS MATLAB Toolbox, BLAZE-VI Multiphysics Software, and VascTech Microvascular Composite.

Dr. Wayne Solomon, Dr. David Carroll, Dr. Rodney Burton, Dr. Michael Bragg, Dr. Victoria Coverstone, and Dr. Scott White founded CU Aerospace in 1998. Each of these founders has been or presently is faculty/staff of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. These founders have a very broad range of experience, some with careers of over 50+ years dating back to the Apollo era.
