This one-day hackathon is a team competition open to anyone working for an organization located within the Research Park or EnterpriseWorks. This is an exciting and fast-paced event where teams can create together. New and experienced employees are all invited to participate in this free event.
Winners of the 2024 Hackathon were announced at the “Fire At Five” Happy Hour on Thursday, June 27.
Team Formation
- Teams are comprised of 3-6 individuals.
- Teams may have up to one full-time employee, the rest must be interns.
- Individuals from the same company are expected to form teams together.
- Companies may have multiple teams participating in the Hackathon.
- Individual registration is available; individual registrants will be assigned to teams on the morning of the Hackathon.
Recommended Skillsets
The Research Park Hackathon is designed so individuals from all backgrounds can meaningfully contribute to a team. Teams will especially benefit from the following skills:

Wednesday, June 26
8:30 a.m.: Breakfast and Hackathon Prompt Introduction @ EnterpriseWorks Atrium
9 a.m.: Open Hacking Begins @ various Research Park locations
12 to 1 p.m.: Lunch provided for all participants @ EnterpriseWorks Atrium
11:59 p.m.: Submission Deadline
Thursday, June 27
10 a.m.: Finalists announced via email
12 to 12:45 p.m.: Finalist presentations @ EnterpriseWorks Atrium
5 p.m.: Winners announced at Fire @ Five
