Overview

AgAnswers AI is a University of Illinois spinout developing AI-powered advisory tools for agriculture. The company builds on the CropWizard research project — a generative AI system trained on over 450,000 land-grant university documents — to deliver accurate, data-driven agronomic guidance to farmers, agronomists, and agribusiness professionals worldwide. AgAnswers AI is led by Vikram Adve, Donald B. Gillies Professor of Computer Science at UIUC and director of the AIFARMS National AI Institute, one of the USDA NIFA-funded national institutes for artificial intelligence in agriculture.
