Charmworks, Inc. is a small parallel computing company that is directly and indirectly supported by some of the best high-performance computing software experts in the world. Our supported machines include clusters, supercomputers, clouds, and single-node parallel computers with and without accelerators such as GPGPUs. We license and support Charm++ and are developing a parallel Python programming interface to support highly scalable parallel performance for Python applications. In addition, we provide support and continued commercial development for Adaptive MPI and other libraries that harness the power of Charm++ to help industry vendors and software developers deliver better parallel application performance.
Charmworks was founded in 2013 by Laxmikant Kale with the goal of providing scalable solutions that improve productivity in parallel programming. Laxmikant Kale is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a leading researcher in parallel computing internationally.
