What is the AbbVie Innovation Center?
The AbbVie Innovation Center (AIC), located at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s Research Park, is a hub for project enhancement and experimentation within AbbVie’s technology organization, especially in support of scientific research and development. The AIC is the flagship site for Information Research Academic Partnerships (IRAP). IRAP’s student co-op program facilitates collaboration between students and AbbVie project teams, exploring innovative solutions to ongoing challenges within the enterprise. Driven by the transformative power of technology, IRAP provides students incredible opportunities to develop skills in fields like software development, machine learning, data science, communications, design, and business systems analysis.
IRAP’s three pillars of Innovation, Collaboration, and Culture form the foundation of the program, propelling its students and staff to constantly push boundaries.
